Maintenance Technician - building systems (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Lakeside Foods and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for ingredient orders in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
