Maintenance Technician - building systems (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Junction Water Authority and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for billing accounts in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
