Maintenance Technician - building systems (San Antonio, TX)

Silverline Mill Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 819 people based in San Antonio. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for carrier rates in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in San Antonio, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
