Maintenance Technician - building systems (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Keystone Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for landfill records in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with landfill records. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Richmond. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
