Maintenance Technician - building systems (Richmond, VA)

We are growing our team at Redstone Granite Manufacturing and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for tooling in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with tooling. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Richmond, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
