Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Cedar Ember Press produces print and digital publications in Omaha, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a large organisation of about 517 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for bindery work in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
