Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Amberfield Ember Manufacturing makes precision components in Chicago, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for machine downtime in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
