Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Fernwood Umber Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Wichita, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Wichita. • We reply to every applicant.
