Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Amberfield Birch Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Minneapolis. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on building systems. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with recycling loads. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
