Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Harbor Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for collection routes in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
