Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Northwind Harbor Environmental Services Partners is an environmental-services company in New Orleans with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for recycling loads in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
