Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Redstone Junction Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in New Orleans, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a small organisation of about 82 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for resident services in order. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with resident services. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
