Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Amberfield Ashton Foods is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for production batches in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Boston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
