Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Bluepeak Orchard Freight is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for customer tracking in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We reply to every applicant.
