Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Fernwood Birch Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Louisville, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proof of delivery in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
