Maintenance Technician - building systems (remote)

Cedar Nest Property Management looks after rental homes across the San Diego area, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a small organisation of about 24 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for unit turnovers in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
