Maintenance Technician - building systems (Portland, OR)

Bright Maple Housing Group is a nonprofit housing provider in Portland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for rent assistance in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with rent assistance. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
