Maintenance Technician - building systems (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Corner Property Management manages apartment communities around Oakland, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would join a small organisation of about 123 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for rent collection in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with rent collection. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
