Maintenance Technician - building systems (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Field Press Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for paper stock in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
