Maintenance Technician - building systems (New Orleans, LA)

Cedar Lantern Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around New Orleans, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for change orders in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with change orders. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
