Maintenance Technician - building systems (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Junction Housing and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would join a large organisation of about 863 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for waiting lists in order. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
