Maintenance Technician - building systems (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Cedar Manufacturing and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would join a small organisation of about 35 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for machine downtime in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
