Maintenance Technician - building systems (Detroit, MI)

Cedar Mill Foods is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 420 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Keep tools and parts for cold storage in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with cold storage. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
