Maintenance Technician - building systems (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Yarrow Foods Group and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for allergen controls in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with allergen controls. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
