Maintenance Technician - building systems (Detroit, MI)

Amberfield North Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Detroit, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Keep tools and parts for treatment plant data in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
