Maintenance Technician - building systems (Detroit, MI)

Westbrook River Press Group prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Detroit plant. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on building systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep tools and parts for proofing in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with proofing. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
