Maintenance Technician - building systems (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Stonegate Keystone Freight and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for dock schedules in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Experience with dock schedules. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
