Maintenance Technician - building systems (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Silverline West Environmental Services and adding a Maintenance Technician whose main responsibility will be building systems. You would join a large organisation of about 396 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for weigh tickets in order. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with weigh tickets. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
