Maintenance Technician - building systems (Des Moines, IA)

Westbrook Iron Property Management is a Des Moines property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Maintenance Technician to take on building systems. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for rent collection in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Experience with rent collection. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
