Maintenance Technician - building systems (Columbus, OH)

Summit Ember Press is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for press runs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 793 people based in Columbus. What you will do • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for press runs in order. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with press runs. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Columbus. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
