Maintenance Technician - building systems (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Beacon Water Authority is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for water quality, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Charleston. What you will do • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for water quality in order. • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
