Maintenance Technician - building systems (Charleston, SC)

Fernwood Drift Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Charleston, and we need a Maintenance Technician to lead our building systems. Our crews keep other people's buildings running and we treat them well. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for work orders in order. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. What we are looking for • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Charleston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
