Maintenance Technician - building systems (Birmingham, AL)

Cedar Meadow Housing is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Keep tools and parts for repair requests in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. Nice to have • Trade certification or licence. • Experience with repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
