Maintenance Technician - building systems (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Ivory Facilities is looking for a Maintenance Technician. The job centres on building systems for safety inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 591 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Respond to urgent calls and record what was done. • Keep tools and parts for safety inspections in order. • Diagnose and repair equipment quickly and safely. • Follow lockout and safety procedures without exception. • Carry out planned maintenance and inspections on schedule. What we are looking for • Several years of maintenance or trade experience. • Reliable, safe and comfortable working independently. • Ability to read manuals and simple schematics. Nice to have • Experience with safety inspections. • Trade certification or licence. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Baltimore, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
