Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Wichita, KS)

Foxglove Orchard Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Wichita. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 530 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
