Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Wichita, KS)

Harborlight Beacon Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Wichita, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Wichita. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for promotions. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Wichita. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
