Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Wichita, KS)

Redstone Quarry Farms Partners supplies farm and food customers across the Wichita region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
