Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Virginia Beach, VA)

Rivermark Cross Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Virginia Beach, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
