Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Virginia Beach, VA)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Fox Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
