Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tulsa, OK)

Northwind Vale Manufacturing makes precision components in Tulsa, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tulsa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
