Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Tucson, AZ)

Westbrook Willow Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Tucson plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Tucson. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer orders. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
