Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Toledo, OH)

Fernwood Ember Press is a printer and publisher in Toledo serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for bindery work. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with bindery work. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Toledo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
