Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Toledo, OH)

Nova West Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Toledo. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Toledo. • We reply to every applicant.
