Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (St. Louis, MO)

Lumen River Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its St. Louis plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 171 people based in St. Louis. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with paper stock. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
