Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Seattle, WA)

Amberfield Maple Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Seattle plant. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for paper stock. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with paper stock. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
