Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Savannah, GA)

Highbridge West Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
