Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Savannah, GA)

Foxglove Glen Inspection Services is an inspection company in Savannah with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Savannah. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
