Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Savannah, GA)

Silverline Birch Freight is a Savannah logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We reward reliability. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
