Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Silverline Juniper Foods Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
