Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Auto Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for warranty claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with warranty claims. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
